Resident Evil 7: Biohazard now offers VR Support in the demo and you’ll find the latest trailer below. The upcoming Resident Evil game is leaning more towards the psychological horror theme featured in the Silent Hills series and is shaping up quite nicely. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is set to launch on January 24th for PS4, Xbox One & PC. The Playstation 4 version will also support PlayStation VR.
The player controls the main character, Ethan, from a first-person perspective, which is a change to what most people would expect from the Resident Evil series. Other elements such as puzzle-solving, resource management, and healing herbs will be in the game but the developers have confirmed that QTE’s (Quick time events) won’t be featured in this title. Personally, I am not a fan of QTE’s in games so this good news to me.
