ZeniMax Lawsuit underway

The court case between ZeniMax and Oculus is underway and expected to last roughly three weeks at Dallas, Texas, USA. The case involves claims that the Oculus Rift VR headset was developed using stolen technology from ZeniMax employees, such as John Carmack, who had left theĀ game development studio he co-founded, iD Software, which is owned by ZeniMax Media, to join the Oculus team back in 2013.

Oculus RiftThe lawsuit dates back to May 2014 when Facebook paid $2 Billion to acquire Oculus which is the amount ZeniMax are hoping to get back for alleged misappropriation of intellectual property if they successfully win the case.
