Tekken 7 full character roster

9 new characters added

Here is the full list of characters that have been confirmed to date for the console release of Tekken 7, which is due for release June 2, 2017.

 

  • Akuma (Secret Final Boss of Fated Retribution)
    Akuma is a character from the popular Street Fighter series that is making his first appearance in the Tekken series. He uses martial arts fighting style based on Ansatsuken.

  • Alisa
    Alisa first appeared as a new character to the Tekken series in Tekken 6 on the Sony Playstation 3. Alisa is an android creation by Doctor Bosconovitch, who was featured as a secret bonus character in Tekken 3.

  • Asuka
    Asuka uses a Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts fighting style and was first featured in Tekken 5 on the Sony Playstation 2. Asuka Kazama is the sister of Jin Kazama.

  • Bob
    Bob uses a freestyle karate move-set and was first featured in Tekken 6 on the Sony Playstation 3.

  • Bryan
    Bryan uses a kickboxing fighting style and has been in the Tekken series since Tekken 3 on the original Sony Playstation.

  • Claudio
    Claudio is another new character that has been announced for Tekken 7. Not much more about this fighter is known at this stage.

  • Devil Jin
    Devil Jin is what Jin transforms into when he is consumed by the Devil Gene. He has the ability to shoot laser beams out of his eyes which can be a very useful move during a match.

  • Dragunov
    Dragunov is a character based from Russia and first started the series in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. He uses a combat sambo fighting style.

  • Eliza
    Eliza was featured in Tekken Revolution when the character won the poll for best new character concept designs voted by gamers of the series.

  • Feng
    Feng uses a Chinese Kenpo fighting style and started the series in Tekken 5 on the Sony Playstation 2.

  • Gigas
    Gigas is another new character that has been announced for Tekken 7.

  • Heihachi (Stage 4 Sub Boss)
    Heihachi has been featured in every Tekken game to date and uses a Mishima-Style Fighting Karate style.

  • Hwoarang
    Hwoarang uses a Taekwondo fighting style and has been in the series since Tekken 3 on the original Sony Playstation.

  • Jack-7
    Jack features new designs through each Tekken game much like how Yoshimitsu changes his appearance in each sequel. Jack 7’s looks are very similar to Jack 6 and Jack 5 with only small changes being made.

  • Jin (Secret Stage 4 Sub Boss)
    Jin uses a Kazama Style Traditional Martial arts and has been featured in every Tekken game since Tekken 3 on the original Sony Playstation.

  • Josie
    Josie is a new character that uses a kickboxing and Eskrima fighting style and is a new character that has been announced for Tekken 7.

  • Katarina
    Katarina is a new character to the series that has been confirmed for Tekken 7 that uses a Savate fighting style.

  • Kazumi/Devil Kazumi¬† (Final Boss in Arcade Mode)
    Kuzumi is another newly added character to Tekken 7 and is the wife of Heihachi.

  • Kazuya/Devil
    Kazuya has been a character in the series since the very first Tekken on the Sony Playstation but wasn’t featured in Tekken 3 while the game was based on a story arc where it was believed that the character was dead.

  • King
    King has been a long-time fan favourite in the Tekken series and using a professional wrestling fighting style.

  • Kuma
    Kuma, just like Panda, joined the series in Tekken 3 on the original Sony Playstation.

  • Lars
    Lars was a new character that joined the series in Tekken 6 on the Sony Playstation 3. He uses a Tekken Force martial arts fighting style as well as Shorinji Karate.

  • Law
    Law is based on the legendary Bruce Lee and uses the Jeet Kune Do fighting style. He also makes a lot of the same noises that you would be familiar with when watching Bruce Lee movies.

  • Lee/Violet
    Violet is actually Lee in disguise and uses a Jeet Kune Do fighting style. He made his first appearance in Tekken 4 on the Sony Playstation 2.

  • Leo
    Leo first appeared in Tekken 6 on the Sony Playstation 2 and uses a fighting style called Bajiquan.

  • Lili
    Lili joined the series in Tekken 5 and uses a self-taught fighting style which consists of her dance moves.

  • Lucky Chloe
    Lucky Chloe is a new character that has been added to Tekken 7 and uses a freestyle dance technique to fight.

  • Master Raven
    Not much is known about Master Raven yet other than she is Raven’s boss. Raven joined the Tekken series in Tekken 5 on the Sony Playstation 2 and uses a Ninjitsu fighting style.

  • Miguel
    Miguel is relatively new to the Tekken series, making his first appearance in Tekken 6.

  • Nina
    Nina has been in every Tekken game in the series and is the mother of character, Steve. She uses a Bone martial arts technique called Koppo.

  • Panda
    Panda joined the series in Tekken 3 on the original Sony Playstation and is the pet of fellow fighter, Xiaoyu.

  • Paul
    Paul Phoenix has appeared in every Tekken game to date, much like Yoshimitsu. Paul uses a Judo style fighting technique and is known for his outrageously tall, blonde hair.

  • Shaheen
    Shaheen is one of the new characters that have been added to Tekken 7 and uses a military fighting style.

  • Steve
    Steve was first seen in Tekken 4 on the Sony Playstation 2 and features a boxing style fighting move-set.  He is the son of another Tekken character, Nina Williams.

  • Xiaoyu
    Xiaoyu joined the Tekken series in Tekken 3 on the original Sony Playstation and has continued to be in every sequel since. Xiaoyu fights with a Chinese martial arts style called Hika Ken and Hakke Sho which she learned from her grandfather.

  • Yoshimitsu
    Yoshimitsu has been around since the very first Tekken game and has gone through drastic appearance changes across each sequel. He has been a fan favourite among gamers and one of few fighters that has the ability to use a weapon.
